Frankfurt Zoological Society began working in Serengeti National Park during the 1950’s and continues its work there today supporting Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) with training, resource protection and infrastructural assistance. Serengeti National Park embodies the beauty, heritage and the importance of wild areas that FZS strives to protect worldwide. Serengeti National Park remains at the core of FZS’s conservation work in Africa.
